3PSC

USNS HAYES, operated by 3PSC, has been selected to support the launch of the shuttle Discovery. The HAYES will carry sophisticated equipment to help monitor the take off performance of Discovery including providing information about fuel tank insulation performance.

3PSC was, for the third year, a sponsor of the Navy-Marine Corps Ball. On May 6th, nearly 1,000 guests attended the 2006 Navy-Marine Corps Ball conducted at the Washington Hilton and Towers Hotel in Washington, D.C. The ball support the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. The 2006 ball raised a record-breaking charitable donation of $420,000.

3PSC will operate and maintain the USNS GORDON, a Large Medium Speed Roll-On Roll-Off ship (LMSR), which is a sister ship to the USNS GILLILAND.

3PSC will operate and maintain the USNS GILLILAND, a Large Medium Speed Roll-On Roll-Off ship (LMSR), which transports tanks and other tracked and wheeled heavy equipment for the US Army and the US Marine Corps.

The Military Sealift Command awarded 3PSC a contract for the operation and maintenance of two large medium speed Ro-Ros, the USNS GILLILAND and USNS GORDON.
