Instructions for the Electronic Employment Application

Please fill in all of the blanks. We recognize that some of the entries are redundant. This is because we need to break the document up to protect your privacy.  If you are a non-maritime applicant, please ignore the sections marker for maritime applicants to complete.

Applicants for shore-side jobs should use the Generic Application.  Maritime data should be completed only to the extent that it may be applicable to the positions sought.  Typically, this data would be only applicable for Port Engineers, Port Captains and other marine operations positions.

Please save the file Giving it a new name (which should be your first name and last name).  Just type your name in the bottom of the dialogue box that you get from clicking the top menu FILE/SAVE. WORD will automatically add the ".doc."

Please pay attention to the directory in which you save your application because you will need to find it to attach it to an email!! Once it is saved you should:

1. Print it out and then sign each spot for your signature. Then close the file (assuming it is saved.) Please mail the original to:

2. Email the saved file "your name.doc" to 3PSC

Please make the subject line of the email your name followed by the position you seek.
